TeachNZ is committed to supporting the professional development of teachers and principals. If you are interested in completing a qualification, taking time off each week to study while teaching, moving to another curriculum or subject area, or taking time off to research a topic of interest, have a look at the professional development opportunities available.

There has been a delay in finalising the documentation for the secondary and area school teachers’ study awards for 2013. We will put that documentation on the website once finalised. In the meantime we suggest that teachers interested in applying use last year’s guidelines as a guide in preparing their applications. However, application forms should not be completed until the forms and guidelines for study in 2013 are finalised, as applications completed in earlier forms cannot be considered for selection.
Click on any of the links below to read more about the award type that may suit you, and please re-visit our website regularly for updates on the application timetable.
