Face-to-face recruitment

If you are Māori or Pasifika, there are several options for getting face-to-face advice, depending upon the teaching sector you are interested in.

• Pouwhakataki – Māori community liaison officers, are employed by the Ministry of Education to encourage Māori into, or back into, early childhood, primary and secondary teaching. If you are Māori and would like more information on returning to teaching, your local Pouwhakataki may be able to advise you.
