2010 School leaver and Undergraduate Scholarships – Māori Medium, Te Reo Māori and Technology.
There are three types of School leaver and Undergraduate Scholarships - Māori Medium (Primary school), Te Reo Māori (Secondary school) and Technology (Secondary school).
The purpose of the Māori Medium School leaver and Undergraduate Scholarships is to increase the number of teachers in bilingual and total immersion classes in primary schools.
The purpose of the Te Reo Māori School leaver and Undergraduate scholarships is to increase the number of Te Reo Māori teachers in secondary schools.
The purpose of the Technology School leaver and Undergraduate scholarships is to increase the number of Technology teachers in intermediate and secondary schools.

Course fees paid for up to four full-time years (depending on type of scholarship).
Allowance of $10,000 over the period of study (for full-time students only). |

Please note:
- Applicants must read the 'School leaver and Undergraduate Scholarships Guidelines Booklet' carefully and send in a complete application form with all relevant documents. Incomplete or illegible applications will not be considered.
- In the past, Teach NZ has returned incomplete forms to applicants but will not be doing so this year. We recommend that your form is double checked before it is submitted.
- Applicants will need to be enrolled in an approved tertiary/teacher education qualification relevant to your type of scholarship before applying for a School leaver and Undergraduate Scholarship.
