If you are a graduate who is considering ECE teaching, you can choose from these options to complete an early childhood teaching qualification at a teacher education provider:

Complete a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (ECE)
Complete a 3-year teaching degree or diploma if you are unable to access the graduate diploma
Apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

You can choose a method of study from a variety of options such as campus-based, online, distance, and centre-based, and whether you study full time or part time.

TeachNZ Teacher Recruitment Scholarships (Early Childhood) are available for those interested in studying towards an approved early childhood teaching qualification including the Graduate Diploma of Teaching. The application can be downloaded below.
