National Relocation Grant

Pailagi Le Mamea The National Relocation Grant (NRG) is an incentive to attract teachers, including beginning teachers, to priority staffing positions. Teachers recruited and moving household from another housing district to Priority Staffing Status (hard to staff) full-time primary positions, are eligible for either $1500 for a 6 – 9 week appointment or $3000 for an appointment of 20 weeks plus.

Teachers:

may have the option of choosing the NRG or contract entitlements such as transfer and removal costs if they meet the eligibility criteria
must apply within 8 weeks of appointment.
