Financial help to study

A small number of Māori Medium Scholarships (Primary) are available for study in 2010. Applications will be open from 19 July to 13 August. Click here for more information.

There are no rural scholarships available for study in 2010. These have been replaced with the Voluntary Bonding Scheme.

Other forms of financial help to study

StudyLink

If you do not meet the criteria for any of the above teaching incentives, you can still apply for Government financial support through StudyLink - administered by the Ministry of Social Development.

Support through StudyLink includes Student Allowances and Student Loan Schemes and the Training Incentive Allowance.
