JobFind Assistance programme

The Ministry of Education has contracted Education Personnel to provide a JobFind Assistance Programme for teachers.

This involves extended one-on-one contact with an experienced recruitment consultant who will help you with your CV and applications for jobs, advise you on networking opportunities, identify barriers that may be holding you back, and identify your strengths and skills and how to market them.

There are three Job Find Assistance programmes. One for beginning teachers, one for Māori and Pacific teachers and Te Reo speakers, and one for teachers returning to the profession.  To be eligible for the programme you must also be:

  • residing in NZ and either hold NZ teacher registration or meet the criteria to apply for NZ teacher registration or
  • residing overseas but with the right to work in NZ.  You must also hold NZ teacher registration or meet the criteria to apply for NZ teacher registration.
