The South Australia New Zealand Principal Exchange is an opportunity for principals from primary, area and secondary state or state-integrated schools in New Zealand to work alongside a South Australian principal in their school for approximately 4 weeks and then return to their school to host the South Australian principal.
Relieving costs for the principals while they are away from their school or kura will be covered, as well as transport (flights/vehicle) and accommodation during the term of the job shadow.
New Zealand principals employed on a full time permanent basis in a primary, area or secondary state or state integrated school can apply. The application form covers the eligibility criteria in full.
We are currently in conversation with the Department of Education and Child Development (South Australia) over the programme's renewal. Information regarding the exchange in 2019 will be made available in January.
